Kent, WA — April 8, 2026: Authorities in Kent are investigating a fatal double shooting that occurred late Monday night in a residential neighborhood.

According to the Kent Police Department, officers responded around 10:22 p.m. on April 7 to reports of gunfire in the 21000 block of 120th Place SE. Initial callers described hearing sounds of an argument followed by multiple gunshots, with vehicles seen fleeing the area at high speed.

When officers arrived, they heard someone yelling from inside a residence and discovered two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Police immediately began life-saving efforts until Puget Sound Fire personnel arrived. Despite those efforts, both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
