Kent, WA — April 8, 2026: Police in Kent are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred late Monday night along West Meeker Street.
According to the Kent Police Department, officers responded at approximately 11:54 p.m. on April 7 to reports of a man lying on the sidewalk in the 1700 block of W Meeker Street. Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering from severe bleeding, believed to be the result of a stabbing.
Police immediately rendered aid until Puget Sound Fire personnel arrived. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim died at the scene from their injuries.
Kent detectives are continuing to process the scene and canvass the area for witnesses and additional evidence. No suspect information has been released at this time.
