INTERNATIONALFire broke out again in America's forests, emergency had to be imposed

A forest fire has erupted in North Carolina, USA. Due to the severity, people in one county here were forced to evacuate compulsorily. At the same time, the governor of South Carolina declared a state of emergency due to the increasing forest fire.

Emergency crews are trying to contain the fires in a region that is still recovering from Hurricane Helene, which hit the region badly in September, damaging 8,046 kilometres of roads as well as bridges and culverts.

The North Carolina Department of Public Safety announced a mandatory evacuation for parts of Polk County in western North Carolina, about 129 kilometers west of Charlotte, from 8:20 p.m. (local time) on Saturday. The warning said visibility in the area will be reduced and evacuation routes may be blocked. You could be trapped, injured or killed if you don’t evacuate now. The Forest Service’s online Wildfire Public Viewer indicates three active fires in Polk County
