On Monday, Harvard University of America approached the court against the administration of President Donald Trump. The university has alleged that the Trump government wants to control the academic functioning of the university by putting political pressure on it. Harvard has alleged this violates the university’s constitutional rights.
In fact, the Trump administration has banned Harvard’s $2.2 billion funding. Along with this, the university has also been asked to submit all reports and drafts on anti-Semitic incidents that took place on the campus after October 2023 to the government.
The administration wants all people who prepared these reports to be named and made available for interviews by federal officials. Harvard University professors also filed a case against President Donald Trump’s administration in a Massachusetts federal district court on April 12.
Two groups of professors had filed this case against the threat of stopping the university funds. Actually, during that time, the Trump administration was reviewing the $ 9 billion fund given to Harvard University.
