Tacoma, WA — Tacoma police are investigating a homicide following an incident that initially appeared to be a vehicle collision in the 6400 block of McKinley Avenue, according to the Tacoma Police Department.

Authorities said that on December 5, 2025, at approximately 3:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area after receiving reports of a vehicle collision. A short time later, officers were informed that the incident was connected to a homicide investigation, and an arrest was made, police confirmed.

Further details regarding the identity of the victim, the suspect, and the circumstances surrounding the case have not yet been released. Detectives remain on the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
