In the press conference after the meeting at the White House, there was a heated debate between Trump and Zelensky regarding war with Russia. Trump said that Zelensky is playing with the lives of millions of people by not accepting a ceasefire
Responding to this, Zelensky said that we do not need a ceasefire. Trump said on this that Zelensky has disrespected America in Washington, now he can come back here only if he is ready for peace.Trump also said that Zelensky is gambling on World War III and will ultimately have to compromise with Russia.
In an interview with The News, Zelensky refused to apologize for his dealings with Trump. However, Zelensky expressed regret and acknowledged that whatever happened was not good for relations between the two sides. He said that I will not apologize, but I respect the American people. I’m sure we haven’t done anything bad.
