Pakistan had registered victory in the third match of the tri-series on Wednesday. The team captained by Mohammad Rizwan defeated South Africa by 6 wickets. Pakistan had chased the biggest target in its ODI history.
After the match, the ICC has fined three Pakistani players for violating Level 1 of the Code of Conduct. Fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi was fined 25 per cent of his match fee for breaching Article 2.12 of the code.

During the match, Pakistan’s fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi lost his cool. He fought with young South African player Matthew Britzky. It was the 28th over, Britzky defended a ball which went to short midwicket. Britzke attempted to steal a single and Shaheen intentionally walked the batter Matthew Britzke. During this, there was a heated argument between the two.
Saud Shakeel and Kamran Ghulam were fined 10 per cent of their match fees for celebrating by getting too close to batsman Temba Bavuma after he was run out in the 29th over. Both players were found guilty of violating Article 2.5 of the Code.
