Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi spoke openly about relations with India. He said that both countries need to work together. China is fully ready for this. He said that this is the only way through which the interests of both countries will be fulfilled.
Pointing towards America, Wang Yi said that as important members of the global South, it is our responsibility to play a leading role in opposing hegemonism.Wang Yi further said that the two countries should not only safeguard their legitimate rights and interests but also uphold the basic norms governing international relations.
He also said that if China and India join hands, the prospects for greater democracy and a stronger global south in international affairs would greatly improve.
