Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is in jail, has once again been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Imran Khan has been nominated for promoting human rights and democracy in Pakistan.

This has been announced by the Pakistan World Alliance (PWA), associated with Norway’s political party Partiet Centrum.This nomination has come at a time when Imran Khan is in jail since 2023 on charges of misappropriation of the national treasury.

Earlier in 2019 too, he was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for reducing tensions with India. Partiet Centrum posted on Sunday at X – We are pleased to announce on behalf of Partiet Centrum that we have, together with anyone who has the right to nominate, nominated former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan for the Nobel Peace Prize.
