Canada’s intelligence agency said that India and China may try to interfere in its upcoming general elections. This allegation has come amid its deteriorating relations with both the countries.

In a press conference on the April 28 election, Vanessa Lloyd, deputy director of operations at the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), said some adversaries are increasingly leveraging AI to interfere in elections, a tactic that new Prime Minister Mark Carney also mentioned.
