Trump’s tariff war has created chaos in the world economy. Relations between America and China have deteriorated a lot. America has imposed a 145 percent tariff on China. In return, China has also imposed a 125 percent tariff on America. Meanwhile, China has given a big blow to America.
China has ordered its airlines not to take delivery of jets from the American company Boeing. The Chinese government has also instructed its airlines to stop purchasing aircraft-related machines and parts from the US.
About 10 Boeing 737 Max aircraft are set to join Chinese airline fleets, including two each from China Southern Airlines Co., Air China Ltd. and Xiamen Airlines Co., according to data from Aviation Flights Group. Some aircraft are parked near Boeing’s factory base in Seattle, US, while others are at the finishing center in Zhoushan in eastern China. China is the world’s second largest aviation market.
Boeing supplied more than 25 percent of its total aircraft to China in 2018, but in 2019, China was the first to ground the Boeing 737 Max after two aircraft crashes.
