The country that allowed Khalistanis to create trouble and encouraged anti-India elements has suddenly developed a love for temples. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney rushed to the temple before the elections. He is campaigning to get Hindu votes by visiting temples. On Saturday, he visited BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Toronto on the occasion of Ram Navami festival.

Whereas in the last few years, dozens of attacks were carried out on Swaminarayan temples and the Liberal Party remained silent for the votes of the Khalistanis. Prime Minister Mark Carney was welcomed at the temple by Indo-Canadian Cabinet Minister Anita Anand, who later wrote on X, “Very happy to welcome Mark Carney, who visits Swaminarayan Mandir for the first time to celebrate the birth of Lord Rama.
Wishing you a very Happy Ram Navami!” Along with him, Liberal Party MPs from the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) were also present at the temple.
