KENT, Ohio – October 28, 2025 — The Kent Parks and Recreation Department is inviting community members to participate in its upcoming CPR and First Aid Training Course on Saturday, November 8, at the Kent Recreation Center, located at 1115 Franklin Avenue, Kent, OH.

This course offers a 2-year ASHI (American Safety & Health Institute) certification, providing participants with essential life-saving skills. The CPR session will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by the First Aid session from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Participants can choose to attend one or both sessions:

  • CPR Training: $40

  • First Aid Training: $30

  • Both Sessions: $70

Registration closes on November 7, or earlier if all spots are filled.
