Kent, WA — The Kent Police Department invited community members to join officers for “Hops and Cops”, a casual evening of conversation and connection held at the Riverbend Bar and Grill on Wednesday, November 5, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The event, promoted by the City of Kent Government, aimed to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the local community in a relaxed, friendly setting. Attendees had the opportunity to meet Kent police officers, ask questions, and discuss public safety topics while enjoying refreshments.
Events like “Hops and Cops” are part of the department’s ongoing effort to build trust, improve communication, and encourage collaboration between officers and residents.
The Riverbend Bar and Grill, located at 2019 West Meeker Street, hosted the event. According to the city’s social media post, dozens of residents expressed interest in attending.
