USAKENT POLICE INVESTIGATING FATAL SHOOTING AT LINCOLN PARK & RIDE

KENT, WA  — Kent Police detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred on the night of November 23rd after officers responded to reports of gunfire at the Lincoln Park and Ride located at 900 W James St.

At approximately 8:46 p.m., callers reported the sound of multiple gunshots followed by a vehicle quickly leaving the area. Officers arrived within minutes and located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police immediately began lifesaving efforts, which were continued by Puget Sound Fire upon their arrival. Despite rapid medical intervention, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The victim has not yet been fully identified. Kent Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting and are working to confirm the victim’s identity.
