Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has come out of a safe bunker after the war between Israel and Iran. He made his public appearance in a religious program. This information was given by the state media. A video released on Iranian state television showed Khamenei greeting and cheering people at the mosque, which is an important day for Shia Muslims, to mark the anniversary of the martyrdom of the worshipper Imam Hussein.
In a video going viral on social media, Khamenei can be seen dressed in black while the crowd standing in front of him chants “We have blood in our veins for our leader”. State TV says the clip is from the Imam Khomeini Mosque in central Tehran.
Khamenei, who has been in power in Iran since 1989, has not been seen in public since the Israeli air strikes on June 13. A pre-recorded video was released last week in which he was seen. He was last seen in public when he met Members of Parliament. To prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power, Israel and America attacked it fiercely, and Iran also responded to this. Israel claims that Iran had come very close to nuclear testing, due to which its country was in danger and this was the reason why it attacked Iran.
Iran’s judiciary says that more than 900 people were killed in these attacks. At the same time, according to official figures, at least 28 Israelis were killed in Iran’s attacks.
