Seattle, Washington — A 32-year-old man armed with a knife was arrested Tuesday afternoon following a burglary incident in Seattle’s Little Saigon neighborhood.

According to Seattle police, the incident occurred on May 5 at approximately 3:35 p.m. in the 300 block of 10th Avenue. Officers responded to reports of a burglary and arrived to find a 37-year-old ქალი victim, who was unharmed but visibly shaken.

Investigators say the suspect had been prowling the victim’s car in a locked parking lot when he confronted her with a knife, threatening her safety. The victim later reported feeling “terrified” and fearing for her life during the encounter.

After the confrontation, the suspect fled on foot, heading east along South Jackson Street. Assistance from the Real Time Crime Center proved critical, as an analyst used community surveillance cameras to locate the suspect near 10th Avenue and South Jackson Street and directed officers to the area.

Police quickly located and arrested the suspect nearby, recovering the knife as evidence. He was subsequently booked into King County Jail on charges of first-degree burglary.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident under case number 2026-124824.
