Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has reached India on the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Breaking the protocol, Narendra Modi himself reached the airport to receive the Amir. Sheikh Tamim is not as common as the rulers of other countries, along with his diplomacy, his lifestyle is also famous all over the world.
High profile Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has been married three times and has 13 children. The Emir title is given to the Supreme Leader of Qatar. Since the formation of Qatar, this title has been received by 11 members of the Al-Thani family and Sheikh Tamim is the 11th Emir of Qatar.
He lives a life full of luxury and comfort. His Royal Palace in Doha is worth about 1 billion US dollars. This palace has more than 100 rooms, ballroom and parking facility for about 500 cars. Gold carvings have been done in some parts of the palace. Sheikh Tamim’s luxurious lifestyle also includes the world’s most expensive ship, which is worth Rs 3.3 billion. This 124 meter long ship also has a helipad and can accommodate 35 guests and 90 crew members simultaneously.
The Emir has his own airline, ‘Qatar Amiri Airlines’, which was formed in 1977, which operates exclusively for the royal family. The airline has a fleet of at least 14 aircraft, which includes three Boeing 747s.
