Mobile Disaster Assistance Center Coming to Auburn This Weekend

USAMobile Disaster Assistance Center Coming to Auburn This Weekend

Residents in Auburn will have access to in-person disaster recovery support this weekend as King County Government hosts a Mobile Disaster Assistance Center on May 16–17.

The event will take place at The Outlet Collection mall parking lot, located at 1101 Outlet Collection Way, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

Officials say the center will bring together specialists from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the U.S. Small Business Administration to assist residents impacted by recent disasters.

FEMA representatives will help individuals apply for aid related to temporary housing, home repairs, and personal property losses. Meanwhile, SBA specialists will provide guidance on low-interest disaster loans available to businesses, homeowners, renters, and nonprofit organizations.

Local authorities are encouraging affected residents to attend and take advantage of the resources available to support recovery and rebuilding efforts.
