Army Naib Subedar Baldev Singh attained martyrdom while serving the country in Siachen Glacier, Ladakh. Lieutenant General MV Suchindra Kumar, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Army Command and General Officer Commanding, Leh-based Fire and Fury Corps on Sunday paid tributes to martyr Naib Subedar Baldev Singh.
The martyred Subedar was a resident of Sirsa in Haryana. According to military sources, he died due to health reasons in Siachen Glacier. The body of martyred Naib Subedar Baldev Singh is being sent home with military honours.
The Army’s Northern Command, which is responsible for the security of Ladakh, wrote on Twitter that the Army Commander and all ranks salute the bravery of Naib Subedar Baldev Singh who laid down his life while serving the country. The Army stands with the martyr’s family in this hour of grief.
