The US space agency NASA released four panoramic photographs of the Earth taken at night on Sunday. One of these photographs is of India in which on one side the sky is shining with stars and on the other side a beautiful shape like a spider web is seen forming on the earth due to lightning.
These pictures taken from space have been posted on social media. “When you see the stars above, the city lights below and the atmospheric glow on Earth’s horizon,” the post from the International Space Station’s account reads. The first picture in the post is from Midwest America, the second from India, the third from Southeast Asia and the fourth from Canada.
The US image shows a cloud-covered landscape, while the Southeast Asian coastline and interior are vibrant with colours. The Canadian image is a bright nightscape, with pale green aurora borealis and the gentle curvature of the Earth.
