The demonstration of people demanding the return of monarchy in Nepal turned violent on Friday. They set a house on fire and tried to break the security barricades. After the situation worsened, the police used force. At the same time, curfew was imposed in three places including Kathmandu. 
The police used tear gas and water cannon to disperse the protesters. When the situation went out of control in Tinkune area, the police fired in the air. Here thousands of monarchy supporters raised slogans demanding the restoration of monarchy in Nepal.
The protesters were raising slogans like ‘Raja come save the country’, ‘Down with corrupt government’ and ‘We want the monarchy back’. Seeing the situation worsening, curfew has been imposed in Tinkune, Sinamangal and Koteshwar areas.
