New Zealand has taken a 2-0 lead in the 5-match T20 series against Pakistan. The team defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets in the second match. In the match played in Dunedin on Tuesday, host New Zealand won the toss and chose to bowl.

The Kiwis restricted Pakistan to 135 runs for 9 wickets in 15 overs. Then they scored the required runs for victory at the loss of 5 wickets in 13.1 overs. Due to rain, the match was reduced to 15-15 overs. New Zealand’s Tim Seifert was chosen as the Player of the Match.

According to local time, the match was supposed to start at 2:15 pm, but it rained before the toss. So the match could start only after 3:30 pm.

Pakistan had a bad start after losing the toss and going to bat. The team lost the wicket of opener Hasan Nawaz in the first over itself. He was caught by Mark Chapman off Jacob Duffy. The team lost 4 wickets in scoring 52 runs.
