Actually, the Ministry of Labor and Employment has approved the recommendation of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). Sumita Dawra, Secretary, Ministry of Labor and Employment, made a big disclosure while talking to news agency ANI.
EPFO has prepared the blue print of this scheme and talks are going on with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to implement this facility. The report says that if everything goes according to plan, this facility can go live on the UPI platform in the next 2-3 months.
