Although air travel is considered the safest mode of transport, but after some recent accidents, people have started losing trust in it. This information has come to light in a survey.

In fact, the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research conducted a survey in February, in which 64 percent of US adults believe that air travel is still safe. These figures are surprising because in the same survey conducted in 2024, 71 percent of adults said it was safe.

It is evident that people’s trust in air travel has decreased in just one year. It is interesting to mention here that the survey was conducted after the plane crash in DC, but the incident of Delta Airlines plane crash also came to light after the survey.

Many passengers believe that the pilots are locked behind the flight deck and only their voices can be heard on the PM system, so they cannot be assured of safety. However, there have been many such cases in which the pilots have gone among the passengers and assured them of a safe flight.
