PM Modi will be on America tour on 12th and 13th February. He is going to America on the invitation of US President Donald Trump. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri gave this information on Friday. This will be Modi’s first meeting after Trump became President again. After completing his visit to France, Modi will reach Washington DC on the evening of 12 February. They will stay till 14th February. PM can also meet American businessmen and Indian community during this period
There was a conversation between the PM and President Trump on January 27. This was the first time the two had talked after Trump became president again. It was only after this conversation that Trump revealed that Modi could come to the White House in February. US President Trump had said during his conversation with PM Modi that India should buy more American security equipment. He also said that bilateral trade between America and India should be done in a proper manner.
