Seattle, WA – October 31, 2025
Seattle Police are investigating a stabbing that left a 42-year-old man seriously injured late Thursday night in the city’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.
According to police, the incident occurred around 10:21 p.m. on October 30 near 15th Avenue East and East Republican Street. Responding officers found the victim suffering from a stab wound to his abdomen.
Officers immediately provided emergency medical aid until Seattle Fire Department medics arrived and took over life-saving efforts. The man was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
Police said the suspect fled the scene on a scooter before officers arrived and remains at large.
Detectives from the Seattle Police Homicide and Assault Unit are leading the investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the SPD Violent Crimes Tip Line at (206) 233-5000.
