The City of Renton has officially proclaimed March 2026 as American Red Cross Month during Monday’s city council meeting, recognizing the humanitarian efforts and community services provided by the organization.

Accepting the proclamation on behalf of the American Red Cross – King County Chapter was Government Operations and Community Partnerships Coordinator Paul Thomsen. The recognition emphasizes the partnership between the city and the organization in strengthening emergency readiness and providing relief services to residents.
