Renton, Washington — Renton is celebrating the holiday season with a month-long Holiday Artist Studio Tour, kicking off in honor of Artists Sunday® on November 29 and running through December 31, 2025.
The self-guided tour invites residents and visitors to explore 24 local artist studios across the city, offering a unique opportunity to meet talented makers, experience creative workspaces, and shop for one-of-a-kind handcrafted gifts just in time for the holidays.
Participants can sign up to receive a free puzzle backer board and begin collecting unique puzzle pieces at each studio stop. The tour starts at Foxwood Engraving, located at 824 S 3rd Street in downtown Renton. Visitors who complete the city-wide puzzle by visiting all 24 studios will have the satisfaction of completing the artwork experience, while every purchase made along the tour enters participants into a drawing to win an original work of art.
To help plan visits, studio hours, special events, and artist details are available through the Visit Renton mobile app, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play. The app includes a “Passports” feature with a complete studio listing and an interactive map to guide visitors from studio to studio. A printable list of participating artists is also available for those who prefer a paper guide.
The event is free and open to all ages, encouraging community members to support local artists while enjoying a festive and creative holiday experience. Organizers also encourage attendees to follow the tour on social media for artist spotlights and real-time updates.
