Renton, WA — November 12, 2025 — Several officers from the Renton Police Department were recognized at Monday’s City Council meeting for their heroic actions that saved three lives over the past six months.
Officers Ediger, Myers, Cumming, Tamaivena, Peterson, Nguyen, and Sergeant Thielman received Life-Saving Awards in acknowledgment of their quick and decisive responses during emergency incidents. According to medics, each of the individuals involved survived thanks to the officers’ timely interventions and professional care.
The City of Renton expressed gratitude for the officers’ dedication and service, emphasizing the vital role they play in protecting and supporting the community every day.
