RENTON, Wash. — The City of Renton has officially launched its annual Giving Tree program, now on display at three major city locations: Renton City Hall, the Renton Community Center, and the Don Persson Renton Senior Activity Center.
Residents are invited to stop by and participate in two special holiday initiatives aimed at supporting local families and children in need: Gift Giving and Gift of Play.
The Giving Trees are decorated with colorful tags outlining gift requests and opportunities to sponsor recreation scholarships through the “Gift of Play” program. These contributions help ensure Renton youth can access play, recreation, and community activities regardless of financial constraints.
A photo shared by the City shows the trees adorned with Giving Tree tags and “Gift of Play” ornaments, along with a festive sign reading “’Tis the Season for Giving.”
City officials encourage the public to visit any of the three locations, select a tag, and make a meaningful impact this holiday season.
