On 22 April, a terrorist attack took place in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in which about 26 people lost their lives. On the 15th day of this attack, India destroyed 9 terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and then the war between the two countries started. This war, which lasted for about three days, was put to a full stop with a ceasefire on 10 May.
Bollywood and TV celebrities openly expressed their views on the Pahalgam terror attack, Operation Sindoor and ceasefire. But social media users were upset with the silence of many Bollywood superstars. One of them is Salman Khan. Salman reacted to the terror attack, but remained silent on Operation Sindoor.

In such a situation, as soon as Salman Khan announced India-Pakistan ceasefire, people’s anger erupted. The ceasefire was announced on May 10 at 5 pm and Sikander star Salman Khan shared a post on his X handle (Twitter) at around 9 pm and said, “Thank God for ceasefire.” As soon as this post was released, people got angry on social media.
People are asking why he did not post in support of Operation Sindoor and why is he now reacting to the ceasefire. Soon after the controversy escalated on social media, Salman Khan deleted that post. This is also creating anger among the people.
