Seattle police have arrested a 24-year-old fugitive from Ohio who was wanted on multiple serious charges, including murder, felony assault, and cocaine trafficking.

According to authorities, detectives with the Gun Violence Reduction Unit (GVRU) received information on April 2 around 12:15 p.m. that the suspect may be in the Seattle area. The man was wanted by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office in Cincinnati, which issued a $500,000 warrant for his arrest in September 2025.

Police tracked the suspect to an apartment building in the 6600 block of Roosevelt Way Northeast. Due to the high-risk nature of the case, Seattle Police Department SWAT units were called in to assist.

At approximately 12:40 p.m., SWAT officers established a security perimeter around the building and safely took the suspect into custody without incident.

Authorities confirmed the warrant and booked the suspect into King County Jail. He is expected to be extradited back to Ohio to face charges.

The investigation remains ongoing.
