There is a lot of tension between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam attack. India has taken several actions against Pakistan. Pakistan is furious due to India’s strict action. Meanwhile, the Home Ministry has given an important instruction to all the states.
In fact, the news agency quoted sources in the Government of India as saying that the Home Ministry has asked several states to conduct mock drills on May 7 for effective civil security.
On May 7, the Union Home Ministry has instructed all the states of the country to conduct mock drills related to air raid sirens. The states were also instructed to install sirens that alert in case of air raids. Civil Defence, Instructions have been given to give training to students and citizens regarding rescue in case of air raid siren. In case of any kind of air raid, these sirens start ringing so that people can hide in some safe place nearby.
