A serious road traffic collision in Edenbridge has left a motorcyclist with significant injuries, prompting authorities to seek public assistance.
According to Kent Police, the incident occurred at approximately 5:30 PM on Thursday, April 2, 2026, on Ide Hill Road. The crash involved a blue Ford Puma and a Yamaha FZ6 motorbike. Emergency services, including the South East Coast Ambulance Service, responded promptly to the scene.
The motorcyclist, a man believed to be in his 30s, sustained serious injuries and was transported to a London hospital for urgent treatment.
Police confirmed that the driver of the car, a 37-year-old woman from the local area, was arrested at the scene. She is suspected of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving while unfit through alcohol consumption. She has since been released on bail while investigations continue.
