Renton, WA — Renton Memorial Stadium saw a large police presence on Saturday afternoon following two separate incidents that unfolded within hours of each other, according to the Renton Police Department.
The first incident occurred at approximately 3:48 p.m., when officers responded to reports of a fight in the stadium parking lot involving firearms. Police arrived quickly, de-escalated the confrontation, and detained three individuals. Another suspect fled the scene but was later located by officers and taken into custody. Authorities recovered three weapons during the response.
As officers were concluding their work at the parking lot scene, a second disturbance erupted inside the stadium, where a private event with up to 100 attendees was underway. A physical fight broke out, prompting officers to request assistance from outside agencies to help secure the venue.
No injuries were reported in either incident.
Police confirmed later that the stadium had been cleared and the situation stabilized. The case number associated with the incidents is 25-9932.
