Astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore will return to Earth on Tuesday evening, NASA announced, after being stranded on the International Space Station for more than nine months.
Williams and Wilmore will return aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon along with Nick Hague and Roscosmos astronaut Alexander Gorbunov. NASA will provide live coverage of SpaceX Crew-9’s return to Earth from the International Space Station.
Assessing conditions NASA and SpaceX met Sunday to assess weather and splashdown conditions off the coast of Florida for the return of the agency’s Crew-9 mission to the International Space Station.
