The Counter Intelligence Jalandhar team has arrested three terrorists of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) who had come with weapons to carry out a major incident in Jalandhar and Amritsar. The arrested terrorists had come to Jalandhar to carry out a major murder.
The arrested persons have been identified as Jagroop Singh, resident of Naushera Kalan, Amritsar, Sukhjit Singh, resident of village Mirzapur, Kapurthala and Navpreet Singh alias Nav, resident of village Fatehabad, Tarn Taran. Sukhjit Singh alias Sukh has also lived in Jalandhar and has relatives living in Jalandhar.
The police recovered two pistols .30 bore (PX 5 Storm (Bretta) pistol), 9 mm Glock pistol and two country made pistols .30 bore and .32 bore along with four magazines and 22 cartridges from their possession.
