Rekha Gupta, who was elected the fourth woman Chief Minister of the capital Delhi, will take oath as CM (Delhi New CM Oath Ceremony) at Ramlila Maidan today at 12:30 pm. Along with the Chief Minister, six ministers will also take oath. Rekha Gupta has won from Shalimar Bagh assembly constituency by defeating AAP candidate Bandana Kumari by more than 29,000 votes.
There are grand preparations for the swearing-in ceremony at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. Also, strict security arrangements have been made. Along with the CM, six MLAs will also take oath as ministers. The names of Pravesh Verma, Shikha Rai, Vijendra Gupta, Ajay Mahawar, Jitendra Mahajan, Ashish Sood, Pawan Sharma etc. were in the race for Chief Minister, but the race was won by Rekha Gupta, who reached the Assembly for the first time.
