Amid tension between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack, US President Donald Trump on Friday expressed hope that the two countries will resolve the tension in their mutual relations.
Trump told reporters on Air Force One, there is a lot of tension between Pakistan and India, but both countries will find a solution to this in some way or the other. Trump said that he knows the leaders of both the countries. When Trump was asked if he would contact them, he did not answer.
Meanwhile, according to Pretr, in Islamabad, Pakistan informed foreign diplomats for the second consecutive day about the increasing tension with India.
The Foreign Office said in a statement, Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch briefed heads of missions and diplomats in Islamabad on developments following the Pahalgam attack. Earlier on Thursday, Baloch had briefed diplomats on the situation following the Pahalgam attack.
