American military aircraft C-17 carrying the second group of 116 illegal immigrants from America landed at Amritsar Airport at 11.32 pm on Saturday night. These include 65 from Punjab, 33 from Haryana, eight from Gujarat, two each from UP, Maharashtra and Rajasthan, one each from Himachal, Jammu-Kashmir and Goa.
Like last time, this time too the returned Indians were brought in handcuffs and shackles, which were removed before they deboarded the plane. Women and children were not handcuffed during the flight, only men were.

At the same time, the third plane from America will arrive in Amritsar today carrying Indians. The second batch of illegal Indian immigrants deported from America and brought to Amritsar today are now being sent to their respective states.
When Prime Minister Narendra Modi met US President Donald Trump in Washington yesterday, it was expected that he would have raised the issue of handcuffing Indians with Trump and asked for exemption from it for Indians, but America again adopted the same method.
