Seattle, WA – October 2, 2025 – Three suspects were arrested early Thursday morning after allegedly committing an armed robbery and kidnapping in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District. Police say the victim, a 39-year-old man, was assaulted, robbed, and threatened at gunpoint before escaping.

Victim Accepted Ride From Spokane to Seattle

According to Seattle police, the victim agreed to pay the suspects $65 for gas in Spokane in exchange for a ride to Redmond. Instead of following the agreed route, the suspects drove him directly to Seattle.

While inside the vehicle, the male driver reportedly hit the victim in the face with a handgun, while the other suspects punched and restrained him. Police say the female suspect then demanded all of the victim’s money, threatening to shoot him if he did not comply.

The suspects allegedly stole $180 in cash, medication, and clothing from the victim before he managed to break free and escape near 7th Avenue South and South Main Street.
