Traffic Advisory: Lane Closures on W James St Near 1st Ave N for Fiber Installation

USATraffic Advisory: Lane Closures on W James St Near 1st Ave N for Fiber Installation

Kent, WA — October 11, 2025:
Drivers in Kent should plan for intermittent lane shifts and closures on W James Street near 1st Avenue North this weekend as crews work to install new fiber infrastructure.

The temporary traffic changes will be in effect Saturday, October 11, through Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Both eastbound and westbound lanes may experience periodic closures or shifts during the project.

Traffic control personnel will be on-site to assist drivers and ensure safety through the work zone. Motorists are encouraged to use caution, allow extra travel time, and follow posted detours or directions from traffic control staff.

The work is part of Ezee Fiber’s ongoing efforts to expand high-speed fiber network access in the area.
