USATraffic Advisory: Lane Reductions at SE 240th St and 104th Ave SE for Utility Work

KENT, Wash. — June 25, 2025 — Drivers in Kent should plan for overnight delays this week as utility crews perform work at a busy intersection.

On Wednesday, June 26, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., the eastbound and southbound curb lanes approaching the intersection of SE 240th Street and 104th Avenue SE will be reduced.

Traffic control will be in place during the overnight work, but city officials are advising motorists to allow extra time for travel and consider alternate routes if possible.

The work is part of scheduled utility improvements in the area.
