Big personalities from countries across the world arrived to attend the funeral of Christian religious leader Pope Francis. The funeral of the Pope took place in Vatican City on Saturday. US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky, who arrived to attend the Pope’s funeral, met each other.
The White House has also confirmed the meeting of the two leaders. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Zelensky also posted a post on social media after this meeting.
This is the first meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump after a heated debate between the two leaders at the White House in February. After this meeting, Zelensky said that if this meeting brings the kind of peace that he hopes for, then it could prove to be historic. On the other hand, the White House spokesperson called it very productive.
