NATIONALUK MP said- British government should apologize to India for Jallianwala

Bob Blackman, MP from the opposition Conservative Party in Britain, has asked the British government to formally apologize to the people of India for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre of 1919. He said in Parliament on Thursday that the British government should apologize before April 13.

Next month, the 106th anniversary of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre will be celebrated. British MP Blackman has also shared a video of his speech on social media. Blackman said in his speech- ‘On the day of Baisakhi, many people peacefully joined Jallianwala Bagh with their families. General Dyer sent his soldiers on behalf of the British Army and ordered them to fire on the innocent people until their bullets ran out’.

MP Blackman said- Jallianwala massacre is a blot on the British Empire. 1500 people were killed and 1200 were injured in it. Ultimately, General Dyer was defamed for this blot on the British Empire.
