Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has claimed that his intelligence agency has identified 155 Chinese citizens who are fighting on Russia’s side. This number could be even higher.
Zelensky said that Russia is recruiting Chinese citizens through social media. China is also aware of this. He said that Ukraine is trying to find out whether the recruiters are getting instructions from Beijing or not.
Earlier on Tuesday, Zelensky claimed that the Ukrainian army had captured two Chinese citizens fighting on Russia’s side. He also posted a video in which the hands of the captured people were tied with zip-ties.
