After writing new dimensions of development, Uttar Pradesh will now become a stronghold for promoting sports. Uttar Pradesh will adopt boxing to promote sports and encourage Indian boxers.
Olympian boxer Vijender Singh and UP Boxing Association secretary Pramod Kumar met CM Yogi. They proposed to the CM to adopt boxing and organize events and prepare players at the grassroots level.
On this, the CM showed a positive attitude and said that he will discuss with the Sports Ministry to decide the future plan. After adopting boxing, Uttar Pradesh will provide state-of-the-art facilities for the players from organizing boxing to preparing players at the grassroots level.
