Weekly Traffic Advisory Issued for Renton: Multiple Road Impacts from March 23–27

The City of Renton has released a traffic advisory highlighting several roadways expected to experience disruptions during the week of March 23 to March 27, 2026. Motorists are advised to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and follow posted traffic control measures in affected areas.

According to officials, the following streets will see traffic impacts due to ongoing construction and infrastructure work:

1. SE 5th St
2. SE 6th St
3. Rainier Ave N
4. Shattuck Ave S
5. Nile Ave NE (recently opened as of March 23)
6. Houser Way N (under N Southport Dr.)

Traffic control personnel and signage will be in place to guide drivers safely through work zones. Residents and commuters are encouraged to stay updated through the city’s official traffic map and avoid affected routes where possible.
