Renton, WA — November 10, 2025:
The City of Renton has announced the return of its popular community engagement series, “What’s Brewing with Ed.” The monthly event, hosted by Chief Administrative Officer Ed VanValey, provides residents an informal opportunity to connect with city leadership and discuss important local issues over a cup of coffee—or in this case, a local brew.
The gatherings are held on the third Tuesday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Four Generals Brewing (229 Wells Ave S). Community members are encouraged to attend, share their ideas, and ask questions about Renton’s projects, programs, and plans for the future.
The initiative aims to promote transparency, strengthen community ties, and create a space for open dialogue between residents and city officials.
Those interested in attending can RSVP by emailing communications@rentonwa.gov.
